Word is spreading that Sprint finally made the long awaited firmware update for the Samsung Instinct available today. This is an OTA (over the air) upgrade which takes under a minute to download and about 5 minutes to apply. So far the reports indicate that while the upgrade erases your browser’s favorites, it generally speeds up most web browsing and increases compatibility with some sites that were not previously accessible. As an added bonus, using the Live Search button now launches the browser into full screen mode.
