I remember only a few years ago the SD card was considered small. If you were to say that now people would laugh at you. microSD is where it’s at, and Sandisk has achieved what to me seems impossible: a 16GB microSDHC card. If there was ever any evidence that the iPod touch needs a microSD slot, this is it!
Since receiving the card I’ve tested it in a number of phones including:
Nokia N95
Nokia E90
Nokia E71
Nokia E51
HTC Touch Pro (how good is VGA!)
Alas my stock of other brands of phones is a bit short at the moment, but basically if it supports SDHC it will be fine. I tried it in my 5 year old Casio point-and-shoot digicam that isn’t SDHC compatible and it just froze on startup (”So much space, arghhhhh!”).
I remembered this morning that I had one of USBFever’s microSDHC readers in my drawer, which combined with this card creates the smallest 16GB USB flash drive I have ever seen. Speed isn’t all that great, clocking it at around 18MB/s, but it’s serviceable, and a worthwhile tradeoff for a drive that can EASILY fit inside a wallet’s coin pocket.
If you want serious space in your mobile device, this card is for you

It just gets crazier and crazier doesn’t it.. Am sure that it would work in my Treo Pro and HP 912, but to be honest don’t really have a use for it.. It is truly amazing though to see how storage is progressing..
If you like, I can send you my 512mg SD card I still have..
