Pandora radio is a streaming music service that’s widely available for free via the Internet. There’s also a very well received free iPhone and iPod Touch application. As you listen to Pandora and rate songs it learns your preferences and plays similar sounding songs. Recently they’ve started to display advertising on the iPhone/Touch as a way to recoup some of their costs. What’s amazing is that this service remains completely free to AT&T iPhone users while users of other types of phones pay a monthly subscription fee. Now it’s available for Samsung Instinct users on Sprint. This application is going to set Instinct users back $2.99 per month billed through Sprint. To download Pandora Instinct owners should navigate to their Digital Lounge and open their wallets.

Actually, I would actually pay for it if it was even an option on Verizon. Personally, I think Sprint should be commended for even considering the app instead of coming out with their own version of it that isn’t as good and is further locked down.

I downloaded Pandora off the Sprint website for my Instinct and its free. Been using it for a few months now. Access is also free. I don't know where the author of this article, Wayne Schulz, got his information from, but it's very innacurate. Pandora for the Samsung Instinct is free to download and free to use.
