Blackberry Curve winning the fight against Pearl 9:1 on Amazon sales

I’m not sure what to make of this sales chart displayed on Amazon. It shows sales of Blackberry Curve models outpacing those of the diminutive Blackberry Pearl by a factor of 9. Having used a Blackberry Pearl for about 6 months I can say that they’re interesting devices but the Pearl’s Suretype keyboard, where three letters are on each key, is frustrating to use. If this survey is any indication you could wonder how well a keyboard-less touchscreen Blackberry Storm will fare in the fight. Of course these sales charts also could be significantly skewed since Amazon have been heavily discounting Blackberry Curve’s on T-Mobile and AT&T for the last month with rebates that bring the net cost of both Blackberry Curve phones to -$75.

I’m pretty sure that suretype has “two” letters per key, but I know what you meant. ;)
