Don’t Tase Me Bro – Thunder Stun 200,000 Volt Stun Gun – $13

This small but powerful stun gun uses up to 750,000 volts of electricity to temporarily disable an attacker. The first .5 seconds wills startle the assailant giving some pain, muscular contraction and shock. For the next 1 to 2 seconds the assailant will be in a dazed mental state with loss of muscular control. The next 2 to 5 seconds will cause loss of balance and muscle control, total mental confusion and disorientation. After 5 seconds the assailant better hope they’re wearing Depends. Note: Illegal to use in some states. Not a good gift for children.

    I’m glad to see this gadget reported but I really couldn’t put much confidence in a $13 item. Reminds me of how keychain mace gives people false confidence. You read about cops using their ‘high octane’ OC spray on subjects with little effect. Any close proximity self defense tool really needs to be highly reliable and well made, usually meaning expensive.

    Lex has a good point… and how could I trust that it would work other than have my wife try it out on me. I was placing an order for it but was turned off by the $10.85 UPS ground shipping fee.
