Through November 1, 2008 Best Buy is offering an additional 20% off most all their smartphones (requires new contract, doesn’t apply to iPhone or unlocked phones). There are only two tiny catches. First – you need to print a copy of the offer from their web site (the store clerks appear clueless when asked to honor it) and second you need to be a member of the Best Buy RewardsZone club. How do you qualify for this free club? If you can answer yes to all these questions – you’re in!

1. Do you have a pulse?
2. Can you fog a mirror?
3. Can you type your name and address into a computer form?

If you answer yes to all of the above – congratulations. You qualify. Follow the link below to enroll and start saving 20% (remember this is only good through 11/1/08 and don’t forget to take a copy of the printout with you and yes you will have to sign or renew a contract unless you get an extremely stupid Best Buy employee of which there’s probably only a 56% chance of that happening). BTW, according to lots of forum chatter, Best Buy is carrying the new Sprint HTC Touch Pro so this is a good way to score and extra 20% off the price for a reported net cost of only $239 for new 2 year contracts.
