Let’s hope that this is a mis-print (but I’m guessing it’s not). The current sales flyer for Best Buy lists the Blackberry Bold’s price as $399 AFTER 2 year contract. This would put it a full $200 more than the iPhone. Even if you use the 20% off RewardsZone you’ll still be paying over $300 and committing to a 2 year contract. As noted earlier, people have reported that the Bold is already making a display appearance at Best Buy with rumors starting to circulate via BoyGeniusReport that this phone may become available early at BestBuy. Given the appearance this week by the Bold in the Best Buy sales circular, if you’ve been waiting for one and don’t mind being ripped off as an early adopter, you may want to get down to your local store this morning. UPDATE: My local Best Buy has none in stock (and apparently no other Best Buys do either). But they have a display model and the price showing is $299 for 2 year new contracts on a rate plan above $65 – if you are under $65/mo then you pay $349.
