Vlingo expands Blackberry voice recognition services to Facebook, Twitter and more

vlingo, maker of voice recognition software for the Blackberry that also happens to drive the Yahoo OneSearch service have just released an upgrade. New in this free release is the ability to speak and send status updates to Facebook and Twitter, support for Blackberry SureType, read back of spoken messages, and the ability to open third party applications from Facebook, Google Maps, Opera and Viigo. I’m a big user of Facebook and Twitter and for times when you are in the car an application like Vlingo is a real help. They’ve also added the ability to reply and forward text and email messages. The update was just released today and you can download it via the link below.
