However I dont' care about that. I am looking to replace my missing Velcro case with another. Since most of you have not used the one your Touch Pro came with would you be willing to part with it and give it to me? I really do like the velcro and don't mind the noise. I thought it did a better job of keeping my phone protected.

I disagree about the case and from reading different sites I am in the minority. I know this is because its screen is higher resolution than what the mogul used, but how could I change this to something along the lines of the moguls resolution? I couldnt find any setting for screen resolution yet. Any one know of any tricks that can allow lower resolution programs to be veiwed properly on a screen like this ?
Otherwise the phone itself is fantastic.
more solid feeling than a mogul, and the screen is beautiful and responsive. Just run your finger lightly around the control "wheel" to zoom in or out of documents, websites and photos.
If I cant resolve this screen problem I will unfortunately have to exchange it for a mogul that a dealer across town has in stock still.
Bummer.

I just got one because of my job, and some of the important programs I have to run for work show up on the screen cramped into the upper left corner of the display. Anyway, you could also get womworld to send you a trial handset, but I believe you won't be able to use it as a phone, but more as a workhorse.

*my post got cut in half*<br

It's not a long time, I know, but it's long enough for you to get a primary impression. May I suggest the E71? It's currently my main device, and although there are differences that I know a hardcore Windows Mobile user will feel (I have used a Windows Mobile handset for 9 months myself, so I know what I'm talking about), I know that there will be some good moments there. The E71 is definitely the best thing I have owned. I also have the N82 which I wholeheartedly recommend as it's an awesome overall handset. I have been sent the N96 for trials, but I honestly *hate* it. Amongst all the handsets I've trialled, it's the one that has collected the most dust, sitting in my drawer.
@Lauren, sigh, we all know how hard Nokia has it in the states. For some reason, they still can't break into that market, although they try, but I believe they're trying the wrong way. Anyway,

@Doug send an email to these guys: <a

Can I go back to my hotel chocolate analogy? If you went out to buy your own chocolates, you would get a bigger box of at least the same quality, and it wouldn't even cost you very much. But after being conditioned by years of hotel rooms where you're lucky to get a hard peppermint, the tiny box on your pillow seems a lot more impressive than it really deserves to be. So no, I guess I never have been spoiled. :-)
I would love to try a Nokia phone someday as I've also heard terrific things, but 1) I am with a CDMA provider and 2) Nokia for whatever reason doesn't have as big a presence in the States.

I am already starting to form some opinions, both positive and negative about the hardware and TouchFlo3D (mostly positive). So stay tuned for more. :) BTW, we are shooting for mid-December for the next installment on hardware and probably shortly after New Years for an article on Touch Flo and software.
@khouryrt. What can I say, but you got me. I have never used a Nokia phone, though I have heard great things. And, sadly, at JAMM we have never even been able to find any writers using Nokia phones. Though, you are right. That is impressive to find such large memory cards included. I am jealous. With the Touch Pro, all I can say is that 1GB is double the size of the 512 MB card that came with the Mogul.

Did 2 of you say you were impressed by a 1GB memory card?! A 1GB memory card inside the box?! Oh good Lord, you have never been spoiled in your life, were you?
Any Nokia phone I have trialed, tested, owned, or even gazed at in the past year has come with AT LEAST 2GB microSD memory cards. The N79 comes with a 4GB and the N85 with an 8GB. They have made it such a must-have addition that I am not even close to being impressed beyond the price, now I almost expect it to be this way. (yes, I am a Nokia and S60 fan, sowwy).

Great post as always, and thanks for including 3 point of views, makes it richer, but wait a second…<br
