I was just remarking to myself earlier today that if I ever walked by my kids’ rooms and the lights were off, that I’d have to run outside and check to be sure I was in the right house. Seems that although my kids can master Monkey Ball and X-Plane on my iPhone – they are a bit unsure of how to turn a light switch to the off position. The Black and Decker Power Monitor provides a sneak peek at your monthly power usage – and it doesn’t require toying around with your main circuit breaker. All that’s needed to get started is the external monitoring device attached at your meter (no wires or opening the meter required). After that you key in the amount you pay for electricity and the monitor does the rest – reporting on usage and the current month’s estimated bill.
