What…didn’t realize that yesterday was World Toilet Day? My how the holidays creep up on us. WaterAid has created a fun web site filled with lots of facts concerning toilets. For example did you know that 2.5 billion people use the toilet each day. The average person spends three years of their life on the toilet. In a given year you will flush a toilet 2,500 times, using about eight sheets of paper per day. The first flushing toilet was invented in 1596 by Sir John Harrington who was a Godson to Queen Elizabeth I. And finally, most toilets flush in the key of E flat!
