I have been using 8 Gb flash drives, 3 of them, for various business purposes; 64 Gb would allow me to consolidate this information. In addition, to other pursuits I am an avid photographer and having the ability to download more and keep my cards clear is also attractive not to mention downloading HD movies when I take them. I am now using 16 Gb & 32Gb CF cards in my still cameras and fill them up on some shoots; even more would be great for video. Wish this was 128 Gb, its coming I am sure, but like everything new the cost will be unattractive. The magnum is already coming down in price as I saw it recently for $129 net after rebate.

It staggers the imagination as to why I would need to carry around 64g of data but its nice to know that I could! My Dell Mini-9 now has a 16g SD card for true data purposes and I have a 16g for real data conveyance. But 64g! As Judie says.. I, Want.

i just bought a stationnary 640gb external hard disk, and am pretty amazed I can have this much space in a unit that is relatively not THAT big. But to be able to cram 64GB into a USB stick, OMG, this is so awesome, it’s almost crazy. I still have a 1GB USB stick and use it, but 64GB?!

Nice! Buy.com has a 16 gig flash drive for $25… last time I looked, their 32GB was around $60. Give it a few months, and this 64 will go for a lot less, too!
I also use portable hard drives. I’m up to 4: a 160, 2 120s and a 20 that has SD and CF ports in the case. There’s never any reason to take everything with you any more, is there?

Nice! I have a Hitachi Portable USB drive that’s 250 GB in size. I use it with my Eee PC when stationary. It’s not bad but if I had that much in flash, it would be better.
