They&#039;ve tried to strongarm cities into suspending domestic partner benefits or they (the salvation army) won&#039;t help with homelessness, etc.
You could do what I do, and pledge to donate to a different charity of your choice (I choose goodwill) every time you see a bellringer. I pledge 2.00 per bellringer, so far goodwill will get a check for 4.00. I am sure it will increase greatly by the end of the year.
