Behold the HP Magic Giveaway Pile of Awesomeness

Posted on 27 November 2008 by

We interrupt this Thanksgiving Day to bring you a blurry photo of a pile of goodies which have arrived at my house. Only one person will win this stack, only one person will be in control of how it gets distributed, and only one person will have the chance to spread massive holiday cheer on behalf of HP, Microsoft Live, and Gear Diary this year.

Will it be you?

Of course, 49 other people will have the opportunity to do something equally amazing, as well.

More coming very soon…are you ready? ;-)

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford

Judie, you’re like the Santa Claus for “big kids”

Ha! Not me; I am just the facilitator. Santa Claus will be the winner, if he or she shares like I hope they will… :-D

    Ho-ho-ho, Yo!

I am so psyched about this contest!! I am so happy that Gear Diary is getting a chance to do this for some lucky winner (and the lucky person/people they share with, hint-hint!)

This is so awesome! Judie, I can’t wait! Can’t we pick someone now?!?

    It certainly is Magic!

    My “credo”, so to speak:

Pay it Forward: “3 people helped each day, “paid forward” by each person helps 4.7M people in two weeks.”

I have a bunch of nephews and nieces that I could be their “tech santa” this year if I won. :-)

I still stick by my promise that if I win – I’ll give almost all of it away. I really only want the Mini … and maybe a laptop, but mostly just the mini.

She said “one” three times. It’s a clue!!!!

Okay, probably not. But hey, this should be a lot of fun running around the different sites. I’d better start compiling a spreadsheet to keep track of ‘em all!

I have to tell you all how TEMPTING the pile of HP electronics is…sitting there, calling me to open it.

If it weren’t for the fact that I know how much I love being the first to open something, and I figure the winner might like that same thrill, I would be all into the boxes. For review purposes, of course. Yeah, that’s it. ;-) ~

Its quite overwhelming when you think about what HP, Microsoft and so many sites are giving away. HP has exemplified something here, the gift of giving, so why not do the same? If I were to win all this hardware, I definitely could not keep it all. My brother would absolutely love an upgrade from his XP machine to the HP HDX 18 and my other brother would be excited about the HP Mini 1000. Why I would love to win this contest is specifically for the HP Touch Smart and media smart. The all in one printer and laptop I most likely would give away as a Christmas gift to a lucky member at the up coming Church harvest. A lot of folks are in rough economic times (world-wide)right now, giving somebody a laptop might not necessarily make ones life completely better, but its a nice gesture that will make their holidays a very special and memorable one in addition to starting off the New Year with a bang. This collection of devices is screaming, show the good in you, so why not make the ‘smart’ choice of sharing the magic too. Thanks!
