This foot high R2D2 Droid is now selling on Amazon. They advertise it as obeying your commands. He’s ready for more than 40 voice commands including asking if he remembers his friends “Luke Skywalker”, “C-3PO” or “Jabba The Hutt”. Turn on game mode and R2 plays games, spins, dances and plays music. Amazon has a picture of him holding a beer bottle, though I’m unsure whether this is just a picture of him relaxing or if he’ll actually fetch beer bottles from your refrigerator. Note: If you’re thinking of buying, folks on fatwallet report seeing the price fluctuate as low as $69 (currently priced at $99 as I’m writing).
