Today’s HP Magic Giveaway sites are Techmamas, merlot mom, Noticias Tech, and InfoWester. Bear in mind that each site will have their own requirements for the giveaway, and they may also have their own rules that will not apply on other sites.

Here’s a quick synopsis of today’s giveaway sites’ details…

Techmamas:

CONTEST DETAILS (COMMENTS ARE OPEN, contest has started!!!! Please go to the bottom of the post and comment your “mom hero” story/links):

• You need to be a mom OR dad
• You can nominate yourself or someone else.
• I prefer that (like many of us) that you can’t afford to buy all of this amazing equipment on your own.
• You need to have a powerful use for that technology, that will not only help yourself and your family but a school or charity as well. School and charity are used in loose terms. You can be a mom that works for an underprivileged afterschool program that wants to share some of the package with the program and some at her home to develop curriculum. You can be a mom  or dad that runs a charity that needs technology to take it to the next level or is trying to get their career back on track – and looking to help others as well.
• To enter, just comment on this post with links to as many different types of media  you want to use to tell you story, or just a text comment.
• Please be “for real”,  there are people that really need this!
• I request (not require) that you “share” the magic by giving part of your package away to the school or charity that is part of your “story”
• The contest will run from December 7 – December 13. Winner announced on December 14.

InfoWester:

Apparently their contest has been canceled…

In day 25 of November (2008) I published a note here informing that the InfoWester would participate of a gigantic promotion of the called HP The HP Magic Giveaway where 50 blogs of some parts of the world would receive a package contend about 6 a thousand dollars in products HP and Microsoft (beyond others), and that each one of these sites would deliver to this kit to an user through drawing or competition. Then, it is my duty to inform that, unhappyly, the InfoWester is not more participating of this promotion.

He had a series of problems for the sending of the prizes to Brazil due the imperfections of customs procedures e, for not obtaining a solution in skillful time, I preferred to yield the done invitation to the InfoWester to another site. Being thus, I ask for sincere excuses to all for the generated expectations. I know that this is a bacana promotion and that much people were interested in concurring for the prizes that would be given by the HP and Microsoft through the InfoWester, but the cancellation of the participation of the site were exactly necessary.
