Uh-oh. Looks like the McCain campaign had a little tag sale at their headquarters. Laptops, furniture and lots of leftover office type equipment was sold off in a big post election defeat sale . A reporter for the local Fox 5 affiliate observed that there were a few BlackBerry wireless email devices for sale. When she bought one (which had a dead battery) and charged it in her office she was surprised to find it loaded with names, addresses and emails dating back to early September! Apparently the McCain campaign was unaware of the procedure – Settings–>Options„Security Options–>General Settings and then click the trackball (or on the 8110 click the menu button) and select Wipe Handheld. PS – You can also set a password on your BlackBerry and if some snooping reporter enters the wrong code 10 times it will wipe itself clean.
