Update on Our Centro Winner

Posted on 28 December 2008 by

I love it when people who win goodies on Gear Diary write back to tell us that they not only received their items, but that they liked them. Such was the case when Kenneth Daniels (kenneth2009) recently won the gorgeous Rose Palm Centro we were giving away, courtesy of Sprint and Palm.

His randomly chosen entry…

kenneth2009 Says:

I have a 700P and I would love to get the new Centro color for my wife who
now has the original Centro in red. The Centro was her first smartphone.
Before the Centro she never cared much for internet surfing or listen to
music on her other phones. She loves it. I would love to win the new color
to give it to her for Christmas.

Shortly after receiving the Centro, he wrote to say that he loved “the box because I hate wrapping gifts.” Heh; me too! ;-)

So Christmas has come and gone, and Kenneth took the opportunity to surprise his wife with her new phone. As expected, it was a hit!

My wife loves the new color and the increased memory. I added all the games and some applications from my 700P and the phone still has room for more.

Thanks again.

Yay! Another happy giveaway winner!

Happy Holidays Mr. and Mrs. Daniels; thanks for sharing!

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
