I was not able to get the Snooze remote to work, but not really concerned about that, since the clock is on my headboard shelf. The backlighting is sort of a neat feature, although even at its maximum setting, it's still dim, and only can be seen when the room is almost completely dark. This Altec Lansing Moondance replaces a Sony Dream Machine that I got back in the mid 80's that is still working, I just wanted something with an iPod dock so I could catch up with technology.

October 28, 2011 – I bought this iPod Clock Radio from Altec Lansing’s website for $75, it was on special, and I also checked Amazon, I think it’s still being sold on Amazon for $130 or so. I like it overall, the buttons on top are very sensitive, and you have to watch when you touch any of the controls on top, so you don’t accidentally push any incorrect buttons while trying to perform your function. Sound is good, better than an average alarm clock, but not the best. I know there are better sounding iPod clock radios out there, but they can go up in price over $200, such as Boston Acoustics, but I won’t pay that price for a clock radio. The dock works with my iPod touch, no problem with that, and the remote is good to have. $129 is a great price; MSRPs are sometimes soooo much higher than necessary. ;-)

It distorted when I turned it all the way up, as I think most smaller systems will do. Looks like Amazon has this for $129 which isn't bad considering I've seen the crappy iHome that I bought for $99 at Target.
Did this distort at all when you turn the music up? My iHome did like crazy.

This is the first time I've seen an alarm clock that has a remote snooze. What I really want is one for my G1. Scoured the net and found nothing that will work with it yet. Unless buy a converter which I may do anyway.

Hmm….maybe I need to get one of these…..

What I really want is one for my G1.
