I fully expect to see a lot of exciting, intriguing, and wonderfully innovative products at CES next week…even if the very thought of all that walking is already making my feet and lower back hurt.:-P
With that in mind, I wanted to tell you all about one of the press releases I’ve just received, for a new collection of stylish bags which will be shown:
Cocoon Innovations is launching a new line of computer bags and cases designed specifically to provide personal storage and organization solutions for today’s digital lifestyle. With an intelligent, functional design unlike anything on the market, Cocoon’s full range of products creates a place where the technological extensions of our lives can be kept safe and organized. Cocoon products are an idea solution for protecting and organizing iPods, iPhones, BlackBerries, cameras, mobile phones and more.
[Ed. note: this is the bag that particularly intrigues me...]Available Spring 2009, the Cocoon collection will offer a complete line of laptop computer bags, totes, portfolios and accessories that redefine the way consumers stay organized in an ever-increasing digital world. Each bag is designed with an organic shape, which serves as a protective shell to safely transport your virtual cargo. The interior of each bag features The Grid, a proprietary universal, elastic organization system providing customized digital device storage. The Grid offers endless configuration possibilities and keeps digital devices organized and secure when moving from place to place.
Is it just me, or does this one look like a pet carrier?
Hopefully I can work in a booth visit or perhaps a review or two, so I can get impressions based on something other than a few photos.
What do you all think? Too futuristc? Too über-stylish? Maybe something you would want to try?

They could be made out of rubber and plastic, for all I can tell. If they are actually made out of leather, I'll be impressed.

I will be interested to hear what you think when you get a chance to touch and feel. My kids call me a "bag lady" and I can always use another one!

Mine, too. I hope that they wow me with new hardware, a golden operating system, and a bit of an IT factor. Am I asking too much? We shall see; but I am confirmed for the Thursday press conference…

Very cool looking, but that 1 does look like a pet carrier or a bread box. I hope you can check them out in person. I also love a cool bag.

Have fun!!! Maybe they'll give you a sample to try out.
I'm interested to learn more about them. Leather bags…recycled materials…etc.

We'll look out for your report about your meeting. Can you ask them how I get to be a sales rep??
I love the top design and depending on how earth concious the materials are, I think these will do great in Europe. Heather C is on to something.

p.s. I'd totally stick my pet in the pet carrier looking thinger. Maybe even pet and lappie?? Hope my puppy doesn't pee on my lappie, that would be a problemo.
