The unveiling of the new Palm Pre just ended at CES 2009. It was announced that Sprint will be the exclusive carrier for this new Palm device which is due before the first half of 2009. The Sprint site now has a page where you can leave your name to be notified when the Pre is available for order. Unfortunately there’s no indication of pricing yet. Interesting thought for 2009: Is the Palm Pre a device that could simultaneously make or break two companies financially?

i think it all depends on the release of the product. i have been a loyal Treo user on the SPRINT network for about 5+ yrs i have owned all of the treo's besides the window based and the 680. currently owning the 755. I have been waiting for so long to get a newer model. I will personally have to play with this device before i choose to stay on the sprint network. I think that it might be a bad position for sprint to only support sprint currently.
