Compared to an Eee or a Wind it is - but 5 years ago I paid almost 2 grand for a similar sized Fujitsu that was about half the speed. Now, I'm not giving up my MacBook any time soon for one of these, but if it was half this price I'd certainly consider losing my iPod Touch. Either way, when I saw the images start to trickle out for this my first though was $1799. I can't believe how cheap it is! Make it run OS X. Then maybe I'll consider it.
