Targus Introduces New Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Cases and Launches Fashion-Forward Bags

Targus is expanding their line of laptop carrying cases. The new cases include the Venture collection of checkpoint-friendly laptop bagss and launched a new series of “Fashion-Forward” Bags which includes the Intersection, Echoes, Rio and Madrid.

The Venture
The cases are designed to fit laptops of up to 15.6”. They allow users to leave their laptop in the case when passing through airport security. Targus’ Zip-Thru™ design isolates the laptop on one side of the case for a clear x-ray scan while providing ample room in the opposite compartment for all of your belongings and accessories.
The cases are available in both backpack and topload and come in two designs – solid black or navy with tan accents.
The Venture Backpack in black or navy and tan measures 18.50” x 8.07” x 12.60”, weighs 2.25 lbs. and has an estimated street price of $99.99.
The Venture Topload in black or navy and tan measures 16.45” x 5.31” x 14”, weighs 2.2 lbs. and has an estimated street price of $79.99.
The Intersection
The Intersection line includes three convenient, trendy styles – backpack, slipcase and slip attaché. It comes in two hip colors, black and burgundy. In addition to a secure laptop compartment lined with high-density foam for side and vertical impact protection, the Intersection Slip Backpack also includes a separate dual file compartment for folders, papers, etc. With lightweight, yet durable material that protects against scratches and scuffs, the slipcase offers great protection for an on-the-go lifestyle.
The Slip Attaché comes equipped with an adjustable shoulder strap and zippered front pocket for easy accessibility. All the Intersection cases fit 15.6” laptops. The Echoes
With a chic rippled design, this line of cases offers a thin, easy-to-carry bag that protects your laptop with high-density padding to avoid impact damage. It’s available in four styles – Backpack, Slip Attaché, Slipcase and Netbook Slipcase. Offered in black as well as a cool grey and teal color combination, the Echoes Slip Backpack offers a separate dual file compartment and padded shoulder straps and back panel for added comfort. The slipcase design is equipped with document storage and protects against scratches and scuffs while the Slip Attaché, comes with a convenient adjustable shoulder strap.
The Echoes Netbook Slipcase is designed specifically for netbooks with up to 10.2″ screens while the other Echoes cases are designed to fit laptops up to 15.6”.
