Wow! If you’re using Google for your email and calendar as well as trying to sync to a Windows Mobile or iPhone device – run right now and setup a free beta account at NuevaSync. Using only some behind the scenes server tweaks you’ll soon be wirelessly synchronizing your Google data to your phone (Update: Apparently though tasks and email are listed the service does not yet sync them). The setup is quick. The service free. And synchronization so far is (a) fast and (b) perfect (aka no duplicates).

I have been using NuevaSync since I got my iPhone in August and it's GREAT! Sync the first time was almost instantaneous and I have never had a problem.

Is it possible to do something like this without giving up my exchange server? I want to get my Calendar synced to Google calendar and my exchange server (contacts would be nice too).

I switched to this a few weeks ago (on my Moto Q9m) and I LOVE IT! I have not had to sync with my laptop since – a good thing, as that was always flaky.

I'm giving this a try right now; so far so good! :-)

I was going to mention this to you after your syncing issues, as it's been around for a while and is well-regarded. It essentially emulates Exchange ActiveSync, IIRC. Glad Wayne posted about it!
