Several users on the BlackBerryForums site are reporting that their 4.5x BlackBerry 8330 devices are showing a “Send MMS” option on their message menu. Lack of an ability to send photos from Sprint BlackBerry’s to other phones has been a long time beef of subscribers. This new feature finally seems to have appeared on 4.5x OS devices without any need to load the latest Sprint software upgrade. Some users are reportedly able to send pictures using this link while others are complaining that while the menu option is visible they’re receiving errors when sending photos. Unfortunately it appears that receiving MMS on a BlackBerry still requires navigating to the awkward Picturemail site on the phone.
