MacHeist 3 Is On…

Posted on 07 February 2009 by

This morning I received notice that MacHeist 3 had just begun. For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, it’s the name and product of a website where “Over 100,000 MacHeist members have experienced the Mac themed, puzzle filled missions, receiving millions of dollars worth of free Mac software so far.”

So not surprisingly, the latest mission includes a Valentines Day software application – Love & Romance, as well as KavaTunes, ShoveBox, and under “Mainframe Loot” I got Process, all for FREE.

To collect the free software, you’ll have to join the site (don’t worry, it’s free), then you’ll need to watch a short video which explains your “mission”…

…and then you’ll have a puzzle to solve.

Of course, there are other options if you can’t handle the pressure of figuring out the code. ;-)

Go get your share of the loot while it’s still available…

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
