A Sneak Peek at the New SeV Tropical Weight Jacket

Posted on 13 February 2009 by

I just received an an email from Scott Jordan pointing out that he has posted pictures and video of a brand new style SCOTTeVEST on his personal blog.

We are finally getting ready to launch a new product, the Tropical Weight Jacket.  It is not yet available, but you can see lots of images below.  Please help us select the best ones.  Thanks!

In an amazing display of excellent timing, one was also dropped off  for me today. I’ll post a full review on mine soon, but in the meantime take a look at Scott’s blog where you can check out videos showing the jackets features as well as…

See all pictures unedited/uncropped here, or below. Feel free to put your comments on them to indicate which ones are worthy of editing for website.

The Tropical Weight Jacket was described to me as “a light weight jacket with removable sleeves; perfect for Texas.” That is perfect, because the days are already getting warmer here, but the afternoons and evenings are still a bit nippy… :-)

Update 02/18/09: The web page for the Tropical Weight Jacket is now live; you can check it out here.

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
