Kindle 2 Unboxing at JAMM

Nearly everyone over at Gear Diary has been going ga-ga over the new Kindle 2, recently released by Amazon. The communication lines at Gear Diary have been burning with traffic on the device, and a number of team members have been receiving theirs. The device is shipping now; and if you ordered one, you should be getting yours shortly.

Case in point – JAMM editor and fellow Gear Diary Team Member, Doug Goldring, has posted a Kindle 2 unboxing. Says Brother Goldring in the article,

…Inside the specially made box, there is a whirlwind of letters, as though all of the words in the English language have been sucked into this small, cardboard rectangle, to be thrust into the thin strip of plastic and metal lying within. And in a way, that is exactly what is happening…

Doug does a really great job of giving us the low-down on the K2, and you really need to do yourself a favor and take a gander. If you’re looking at the Kindle 2, its going to go a long way in helping you decide if its the device for you.
