Prepaid $ 50 wireless calling refill cards for AT&T, Boost, T-Mobile and Verizon – $44 via Target

Prepaid cellular calling is growing into a big business. The days of when you’d have to pay an inflated per minute rate on prepaid are long gone. Sure they charge you a little more but you can get a full cellular phone for under $50, load it with prepaid minutes and be able to talk within minutes. There’s no annoying contract, no annoying phone salesman, no rejected rebates, if the phone breaks you buy another cheap prepaid phone and swap your SIM. Some of the carriers (T-Mobile for one) allow you to keep your minutes for a full year so long as you buy them in $100 increments. Every Band Should Do One of These

Our friends over at Just Another iPhone Blog have pointed out a cool new iPhone app for  Death Cab for Cutie.  I’ve never heard of the band, but if its not Country, I’m not sure I’d like it too much (and I’m not surprised I haven’t heard of them…)  However, says brother Patrick, I honestly think this is a great promo tool for a band (Death Cab for Cutie) and just an outstanding iPhone app.  Really think every band should do one of these (except maybe Cheetah Girls…) I agree that apps like this are a great way to learn about a band… Continue reading on Gear Diary …
