The problem that Sprint might face is other carriers enter into a price war which brings the whole industry down. The weakest players would probably fare worse. Personally I cannot wait to see how this all plays out. It's looking like the Pre needs to get out damn quickly to help Palm financially -- and to a larger extent Sprint. Period. The perception of Sprint is about to change, which is something that is long overdue. Sprint has improved their customer service, their network is strong (3G stronger than most) and their rate plans are a great value. My opinions of Sprint are in the minorty...for now. Push it out the door with tons of issues, battery life problems, 3g issues, lines around the block due to stockouts etc. Same disaster with the Wii and PS3. I'd rather wait an extra month or two and have them readily available and them not needing a major service pack before you open the box. Only time will tell which one of us is right.
