I've had my Epix only a few days and I am having the unresponsive power on problem. Removing the battery fixes it for me also, but that is going to get old quickly. It started when I installed the notification patch.<br>Rebooting the phone would fix it for a while, but the problem always came back.<br>It would take several presses on the power button to turn it on, the touch screen would not respond and there would usually be no sound.<br>Removing the patch fixed it, but now I don't know when I get mail unless I check. Same problem. Seems to happen now every day or so. Only a battery removal power down will fix it. I really liked the phone when I first got it, but it's turning out to be more trouble than it's worth. Drops way more calls than my colleagues' iPhones and BlackBerrys too. Yup. Same problem. It has a few foibles that need to be corrected with a ROM update, as has every WM phone I've ever owned, but I haven't had any hardware issues.
