Forget about the conventional wisdom of never sticking anything larger than your elbow inside your ear. This $1.81 illuminated ear wax remover and pick lets you see exactly how many pounds of wax have built up inside your child’s ears. This tiny device includes two picks and one tweezer which can be mounted on the tip to help mine for gold. Hopefully whoever uses this has a steady hand as we all know that sticking stuff in our ears is a big no no.

The reason doctors like myself say not to use q-tips and other blunt instruments in the ear is that hands are unsteady, blockages can give way quickly, and it is easy to perforate the ear drum with possible infection, damage to the middle ear's delicate bones, and loss of hearing. You should not implicitly endorse such products by featuring them on your site. Despite your caveats, this item can not but cause harm. As well, if you use it on yourself, the light is of no help; and if you use it on someone else, don't know what you are seeing or doing, it is of no protective benefit either.
