I’ve yet to see anyone write about the price drop on the new T-Mobile Cameo wireless picture frame. This whole concept is pretty neat. Digital picture frames of course have been around for quite some time. What T-Mobile did is embed a cellular modem into their frame so that you won’t have to mess with connecting to Wi-Fi. The frame has its own address so you can send pictures from cellular phones. This sounds like a great gift for grandparents and far away family members.

Early reviews were lukewarm on the picture quality and cost ($10/mo for service). Now I’ve spotted that T-Mobile stores are selling these for $39 and only $1.99 per month service. There’s no contract and no activation fee (if they try to charge you one either go to another store or walk). In order to purchase I understand that you DO have to be an existing T-Mobile customer.
