The Macbook releases quite a bit of heat via the bottom, when the laptop is being used heavily.

Nice review. Thanks!

Just wondering if this case helps out with the sharp edge where the wrists rest, on either side of the trackpad? I really bought that in a heartbeat. Except when I saw the price subtotal. That was the case-mate signature case. Difference is, it's one-piece, as there's a piece that joins the bottom half and the top half together. I was worried that might actually restrict airflow more. They had a square cutout that showed the apple. Available in leather and carbon fiber. However, I believe they're discontinued now, and the leather retailed for about 100, while the carbon fiber, 149. Way too much.

Hi Wayne! I'd get one in a second except I'm concerned about the air flow and cover movement. I use my MBP in bed sometime and if it didn't fully it wouldn't be as usable for me.

I'm surprised they don't make this like most iPhone cases with a cutout for the Apple logo…

Great review.
