Woot Sellout has this xPal Portable Li-Po Battery Pack up for grabs at $9.99 plus $5 shipping. The same $5 shipping covers as many of these as you buy (so long as you don’t want to buy more than 3). This battery reportedly will charge the iPhone 3G and because one of the connectors from the battery pack is a USB port – you can bring along your regular USB cable to act as a charging cable if you like.

There are 6 tips includes (Samsung, Nokia, Mini USB, Sony Ericsson, Palm and LG). Each year you can request an additional 2 free tips (shipping and handling applies and I have no idea what that runs – probably about the cost of two tips). I love these type of batteries that feature a USB port so I can plug in a regular cable when I don’t happen to have the proper tip. Battery is a 2000 mAh@5V Lithium Polymer weighing 2.5oz – 70g. Remember Woot is a one deal per day – so the deal will be gone tomorrow.

i've been using the Harry II (as well as other XPAL products especially the Victor model) and i'm very pleased with it. very useful during out-of-town trips to places where power outlets are not available. it was able to charge my mobile phones, iPod, I.Tech bluetooth headsets wherever i am!

I have one of these but it is another OEM brand. Looks exactly the same. It can't charge the ipod touch and the current isn't enough to charge the Asus P525.

It can charge my Nokia phones but it takes about 2-3x longer than the regular charger. (that's also leaving the external battery plugged into the outlet)
