Coming April 18 to Amazon it’s Chia Obama. Grow green hair on the President of the United States in what surely must be one of the most bizarre novelty items ever. Available in two dramatic poses – either Happy or Determined. Just be happy you’re not the manufacturer who most certainly will soon be entertaining a whole squadron of IRS agents in their waiting room any day now.

I kind of have a problem with this if there was never a Chia Clinton or Chia George Bush. Is this being done primarily because the manufacturer is inferring that Obama's hair is similar to Chia?

Personally I think the Chia Obama looks more like Billy Crystal, though if you let it grow out it could be Richard Simmons.

Clinton and Bush each got plenty of their own stuff – heck, remember the Hilary Clinton Nutcracker? For some reason Chia seems to be back in vogue, why not take advantage … unlike with Bush and Clinton, stuff with Obama sells well for positive reasons …
