Motion Plus…….Wii!

Ok, so I finally convinced my wife into buying a Wii, and being the loving woman she is it was my Christmas gift. Since then on any given day you can drive past our house and see two grown adults swinging their arms around like Orangutans in a zoo…..hehe and if I am quick enough I can open the shades while she is using Wii Fit to Hoola Hoop!

So now the folks over at CNET have posted that Nintendo has finally announced the release day of the MotionPlus attachment that was shown  at last years E3. It will be available June 8 for $20.

MotionPlus promises a more precise and accurate experience while using the motion controls on the Wii remote. The device attaches into the nunchuk port at the base of the remote and will work with all existing games but most noticeably with the sequel to Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort.

Wii Sports Resort will also be available on July 26 for $50, it will have sword fighting and frisbee just to name a few games. Wow this should give our neighbors more laughs, two grown adults having a good old fashioned Joust…..sans the swords!

He is a claims adjuster for State Farm Auto Insurance, and he has also worked in their systems department. He was a computer science major at Mt. He quickly realized that he did not like writing code or script, which is why he changed both majors and schools, graduating from Franklin University with a BS in Business and minor in HR Management. Adrian has been a gadget enthusiast as far back as he can remember, and his wife might say that he spends more time in Best Buy than he does with her. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his new little family, reading, watching baseball, and assistant coaching on his high school varsity baseball team. He is also in the process of deciding if he is ready for the transition from PC to Mac, as he's sure many of you can relate.

My concern is that while it will 'work with' many games, Wii Sports Resort will be the only one to really take advantage for a while – and then we'll be sifting through the shovelware until something good arrives. Well, I hope not …

This is one I'll wait a bit – after all, we have 4 WiiMotes and getting the game plus three extras would be $110, not exactly cheap.
