Of course the Sidekick LX has personal e-mail, SMS, MMS, instant messaging (IM) Built-in IM clients include AOL®Instant Messenger, Windows Live™ and Yahoo!® Messenger. Does the new Sidekick LX have Wi-Fi? If not, how come?
No, because we want you to be forced to pay extra for a data plan. the Sidekick LX does not have Wi-Fi. We wanted to make sure we took the time to listen to our customers and incorporate the features that have been asked for the most while keeping the cost consistent with past Sidekicks. The device is 3G-enabled which hardly any of you will be able to use because we have such a tiny footprint – now stop asking these embarrassing Wi-Fi questions.

No, the Sidekick LX does not have a touch-screen interface. Touch-screen was not a priority feature for any of our customers missing their arms that was requested by our customers.

Yes, the Sidekick LX does have a music player and video player.

Will the new Sidekick LX support corporate email?
Exchange support will not be included on the new Sidekick LX at launch, but we plan to make it available via the Download Catalogue for an additional charge later this year for customers who are interested in corporate e-mail support.

I think they have alot of nerve jacking up all the prices on all the sidekick plan when their 3g network is basically nothing. I completely agree with everything that got “crossed out” in this article.
