Qstarz Releases Intresting GPS Tracker

Posted on 20 April 2009 by

I loved the Visiontac VGPS-900 I reviewed back in December, and  Qstarz has now released something I may like even more.  The BT-Q1000X from Qstarz not only can data track and help Geotag your pictures, but it can also work as a regular wired GPS for those who have a cheap laptop with no Bluetooth for use only in the car.

It also has a unique feature I haven’t heard of yet, called A-GPS or Assisted GPS.  You download a file from the Internet that helps the GPS get a warm start fix of only 15 seconds.

Sounds interesting, and it may also give you a tool for keeping track of your unruly teen as well!
