Update: This giveaway is now closed, and the winners are nosmohtac, Peter and Ken. Thank you for entering, and watch for more giveaways from Gear Diary soon!
PPCTechs, the company which attained huge internet acclaim for their PDA RAM memory upgrades, also offers accessories and services for just about every Windows Mobile and Palm smartphone known to man.
They also happen to be sponsoring a giveaway here on Gear Diary for two of their most popular accessories: the WriteSHIELD 2-pak kit (my personal favorite) and a Lil’Sync cable. With this kit you’ll have the best screen protection available for your device, as well as a portable syncing and charging solution.
Three winners will get one of each item, and we’ll randomly choose those winners at midnight CST on Sunday, April 26.
To win your little pack of PPCTechs goodness, all you have to do is leave a comment telling us what you are going to do (or what you did) – if anything – to recognize and celebrate Earth Day 2009.
Rules: This giveaway is available to entrants anywhere in the world; writers for Gear Diary are ineligible.
Update: For those who can’t wait to find out if you’ve won because you need PPCTech products now, you’ll be glad to know that Gear Diary readers can get a permanent 10% discount on all repairs and accessories when they use GEARDISC as the discount code in checkout. The discount is applied when the order is processed.

I honestly didn't do anything for earth day, but would still like to win this for my Touch Pro.
Thanks.

I replaced the light bulbs in my house with compact florescent bulbs, except for the night lights – they don't make them for those yet.

I have not done anything specifically for earth day, but in the past I've made changes at home to be more efficient, and that also helps the earth. Plus, our town has a good recycling program, so I didn't have to do anything there.

My main office is in a building that is nearly all glass, and we have loads of lights on auto-timers (already a nice savings). But the glass provides loads of ambient light, making the added lights often unnecessary. I went around to all of the ones with over-ride switches today and turned them off and stuck on a little thing I printed that said 'Please leave off unless necessary – save money and save the Earth on Earth Day!'

I didn't mow the lawn today and I get the feeling my kid is going to hear quite a bit about the topic of the day on a field trip. Other than that – no plans to really do anything for the day. I'm not against helping the environment, but I don't really go out of my way to do something special just for one day.
