But the glass provides loads of ambient light, making the added lights often unnecessary. I went around to all of the ones with over-ride switches today and turned them off and stuck on a little thing I printed that said 'Please leave off unless necessary - save money and save the Earth on Earth Day!' Plus, our town has a good recycling program, so I didn't have to do anything there. This is the first year that we are actually growing plants that will be useful. I can't wait for them to grow fully.
