We all have hundreds and hundreds of pictures, taken to freeze moments in our life like happy events and sad days, and to recall persons we love.
Today these pictures are hidden in our hard disks rather than being printed and it’s time to use them in their full glory, for something or, better, for someone.

Mother’s Day is behind the corner and you can make her a sweet and delicate gift with an album of photographs to celebrate with her in her day some aspect of your relationship and life together.
An easy way to do this is Picaboo, a service to create, realize and send photo books and cards; moreover, in honor of Mother’s Day, Picaboo offer a 25% off the order until April 30th, using the code SPRING25.
Once you choose the photos and the Picaboo’s free software is downloaded, a photo book can be created in minutes using an “Auto-create” feature. Alternatively, you can choose page layouts, page backgrounds and numerous fonts and text colors for a highly customized photo book.

If you run out of ideas, Picaboo Idea Center gives advice and sample albums like:
a book filled with her special children and grandchildren
a “Without Mom who would…” book
a “Favorite Memories” book
a “World’s Greatest Mom” book
a book of “Flowers and Letters”
a “Children’s Funny Sayings” book
a “Mom’s Favorite Recipes Cookbook”
a “Mommy and Me” book
This is a noteworthy gift she will appreciate, and you will not regret the time spent to choose the photos and assembly the book.
But be prepared and bring with you some handkerchiefs.

I was all psyched to do this, yeah I thought it would be a nice Mother's Day gift for my wife.
Unfortunately though the software is only available for PC!

That's why you need to get a Netbook to go with your Mac … I should take a picture of my desk – I have my MBP front & center, my work HP to the lower right if needed, and my Lenovo s10 netbook at lower left pulling PC duty. My Dell m1730 has gone more or less to the kids at this point (they don't mind) as I can do any PC gaming on the MBP!

LOL Michael, I've been close to pulling the trigger on a Dell Netbook but only so I can Hackintosh it.
But having a MBAir I'm hesitant to do it.
I have Parallels installed on my iMac but always forget it's there, since I never use it. I guess I could use it for this.

Igreenberg,
I second Parallels.
I used to be a Mac user (first one was an Apple II GS) and I was in love with my first apple notebook, a PowerBook Wallstreet.
After I dropped down the last one, being on a budget, I went with an Eee PC 900HD and I don’t regret it, also because the Mac was performing poorly with the software I had to use for work.
However I used some emulator and virtual machine programs on the Mac and they always performed well (I am not talking about game here).
