You have the choice of loading a photo you’ve taken with your smartphone’s camera, or by selecting the option to use either their Twitter or Facebook profile pic.

The application is available for BlackBerry  (Storm, and all track-ball devices — 81XX, 83XX, 89XX, and 9XXX models) and Android handsets.  Android users can download the application to their device from the Android Market.
