Toodledo for BlackBerry enters beta

Popular task management web site Toodledo is currently accepting private beta applications for a BlackBerry application that synchronizes with the Toodledo web site. Development of the program has been assigned to Fieldstone Software, LLC who is apparently creating the application independent of Toodledo but with their consent.

There’s not much information on the ToodledoBB beta page. It’s too early to tell if the application is going to synchronize Toodledo data to the native BlackBerry tasks or if it will only synch to the BlackBerry application ToodledoBB.

    Interestingly enough, Pocket Informant for BlackBerry is also gaining Toodledo sync sometime this year. We’ve been talking to the Toodledo people about that for about 6 months, but its not high on our priority list. Same for our Windows Mobile product – we plan to add it there too.

    I’d say this app will probably beat us, but that’s OK.

    As the article suggests, ToodledoBB is currently in beta. If you’re interested in testing or just want to stay in the loop, come on over to the site (ToodledoBB.com) and sign up. You can join the newsletter, opt in for beta testing, and participate in the forum.

    So far, we have received a wealth of suggestions from our current testers. Kudos to them!

    The beta is going very well and we’re very excited to be working on such a useful tool for the blackberry.

    This is an old thread but thought I’d leave an update: ToodledoBB was renamed to TaskJot quite a while back. Its in its 2nd version now. You can find out more about it from: http://www.taskjot.com
