Haven't done a hard reset yet, but I did a soft reset after the update was completed. Ascending ringtone fix is working and so far I have not had any dialing issues (only test dialed once though). No texts yet but hopefully everything is fine on that front. And I can't test the email patch because I don't use poutlook, I use flexmail, and the Epix seems to still be stubborn about working with flexmail. I will continue to update if I run into any problems or have to hard reset. Ok, here are my thoughts now that I have the update. I am calling them again for it. I know there are risks, but I am hoping it will fix some odd issues. If not, then I will either see if they'll exchange it, buy an unlocked phone, or flat out cancel my contract and move to Verizon and set up a family plan with my girlfriend. The way I see it, I either get some bugs fixed on my phone, I get AT&T to fix my phone/give me a new phone, or I get a slightly cheaper plan through Verizon and amortize the cost of the ETF over the months I save through VZW.
