I would bet that the younger demographic is using it more for newspapers, journals and other publications rather than novels. Just a thought. I am a "soon-to-be" Kindle person (birthday coming up) and I am impressed by the way I can get newspapers and magazines on it, as well as books. Portable and very useful.
