Good point but I must add that that crank flashlight cost as much as this whole kit!
I need a dynamo flashlight. I have one of those shakelights and it’s ok but it takes longer to charge.

Probably the best items in this kit are the water bottle and poncho. It’s worth it to get a real, brand-name, good flashlight and larger, brand-name multi-tool or hunting knife for serious camping.

Notice that you can’t use the nice bottle as a water bottle while you are using it to carry the other survival gear. Perhaps it would be wise to pack in a zip lock bag to store the gear, in case you ever need to fill up the bottle.
