Did you know that you can date your depth and breadth of internet time-wasting, by which over-wrought internet memes* are immediately familiar to you?
Whether you were involved in pre-Web USENET discussions in which ‘Godwin’s Law’ was invoked (1990, though usage is cited back to ’89), recall when the ‘Dancing Baby’ meme had ‘jumped the shark’ by the time it was on Ally McBeal, been Rick-Rolled, had an unwelcome goatse sprung on you (not sure there is any other kind), asked if you can haz cheezburger, or even watched Susan Boyle sing recently, you have been part of an internet meme.

Now a site called Internet Memes has attempted to attach a timeline all of these curiosities. It is interesting to check out … if for no other reason than to see how much time you’ve wasted on all of this.
Now I wonder … how long before THIS one hits the timeline?
