Notes: I plan to install this evening. Anyone else installing, please do at own risk. If you've never installed or upgraded your BB handheld OS, I wouldn't do this. If you have, and are comfortable, please please backup your handheld with desktop manager before installing. No one on the interwebs is responsible if you brick your BlackBerry ;-)

- the screenshots of 5.0 don't look revolutionary; but, keep in mind that it does not appear that the user was running their handheld through BES 5.0 either (I'm sure BIS users will see some improvement, but I believe most big feature improvements are reliant on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server setup).

That's the rub...BlackBerry 0S 5.0 has *not* yet been officially released. 4.7 is the highest production release for the storm (and I believe 4.6 is the highest for the Bold). There are some "dot" releases (4.7.x.x.x) available with minor improvements here or there -- but no 5.0.
I suspect RIM is finishing cooking up the handheld OS, but as you probably know...once RIM's done with it, the wireless carrier's dig into it for proper certification before making it "publicly" available. Usually, the BlackBerry blogosphere has a pre-release available for those that want to try it ahead of time (of course, do so with caution as the early versions do tend to cause JVM errors, and can even "brick" your BlackBerry).
While BES 5.0 is out and about, corporate users still won't be able to flag and set reminders on their enterprise BlackBerry emails until the OS is fully cooked and released -- and implemented within their company. Given BES 5.0 was starting to be marketed in February '09 and then just officially announced at WES this May, I'd say it will be a long summer before anyone sees the handheld 5.0 OS popping up. Just a guess.
If anyone on any blog (including GD) gets a hold of it, there will definitely be an update.

@victore – you are 100% absolutely correct.
