This Nokia N810 is an internet only tablet that runs the maemo Linux-based OS2008 operating system. Never heard of that OS? Neither have most which might be why the N810 is quietly sliding out the bargain bin checkout aisles.
Still, for those who craze one of these Nokia’s, $148 from the manufacturer isn’t a bad deal. The device has a 4.1 inch touchscreen with 800×400 pixel resolution that displays up to 65k colors. There’s 2GB of onboard flash memory and a single expansion slot to stick your Secure Digital (SD), MultiMedia, miniSD and microSD memory cards – so long as they don’t exceed 2 GB in size. The N810 currently displays backorder – to get the price add it to your cart and slap in coupon code CARTP409N.

The code works site-wide on the Nokia store… The N97 was $450 on pre-order!

Actually it will support at least 8GB cards for expansion. I love my N800 and would have jumped on the N810 if it had been this price when I bought the N800.

Big indicator that the N810 is on it’s way out. PLUS Maemo 5.0 is going to be a big deal. Maemo 5.0 is supposed to not be able to run on the N810.
